Hello everyone, you are looking at pictures of a very hard to find 1987 Chevrolet K-30 4x4. This is a factory single wheel 1 ton 4 door pickup. This is a 100% RUST FREE original CA truck which was purchased new here in southern CA, at Cormier Chevrolet, and it has never left the state. The truck has all of its original sheet metal and paint. This is proboably one of only a handful of this body style trucks in the country which still has its original sheet metal and is totally rust free. The truck has its original factory fuel injected 454 big block motor in it and it runs super, it pegs the oil pressure gauge and has lots of power. There is a Flowmaster muffler on the truck which gives it a nice throaty sound, otherwise its all untouched. The trucks original heavy duty Turbo 400 automatic transmission is in excellent working condition, we just serviced it and its ready to go. The factory heavy duty NP 205 gear driven transfer case is also in excellent working condition and it shifts in and out of 4 wheel drive easily. The original front axle is a stout DANA 60 and it has the original manual locking hubs and factory disc brakes, it is also in excellent condition. The rear full floater 14 bolt is all stock with a factory posi traction unit, it is also in great shape. As you can see from the pictures the truck sits absolutely perfect, this clean look comes from a 4 inch suspension lift combined with a set of 35 inch BFGoodrich mud terrains wrapped arounn WELD super singles aluminum wheels, the combination is real clean and the truck gets complimented regularly. There is a set of Billstein 5150 remote reservoir shocks in the rear to give this truck the smoothest ride possible. The exterior of the truck is in nice original shape, there is a dent on the passenger side door, and bottom portion of the passenger side front fender, other than that the rest of the truck has dings and scratches due to normal wear. Overall not bad considering its 23 years old. The inside of the bed is in nice shape, there is one small dent the size of a 50 cent piece on the floor, other than that its clean. Someone used some type of protective black paint on top of the bed rails, it is hardly noticeable. The interior of the truck is in nice shape, we just refoamed and recovered both the front and rear bench seats, they feel and look fantastic, we also installed a new headliner. The rest of the interior is pretty much original, the carpet has a little wear mark on the drivers side heal pad, and a little discoloring/wear on the passenger side floor where the transmission hump is, the rest of the plastics are in great shape. The dashpad is original and it has a few cracks in it. The truck has its original 1987 maintanance schedule book and the original dealerships key tag identification clips taped to the original dealerships business card. The truck also has its original options sticker in the glove box. All the gauges and lights work properly, the truck has factory dual gas tanks and they both work fine. There is a JVC CD player in the truck hooked up to a pair of SONY 6x9 speakers. We just installed a new A/C compressor and the air blows cold. This is overall a great looking and driving truck. Trucks like this are getting hard to find with original sheet metal and no accident history, this particular truck does not look or feel like it was ever abused or used for hard work, you will be hard pressed to find another one this original and this untouched.
