I am selling this vehicle for a friend so if you have any further questions please call Rob @ 508-577-0527 I have no driven this vehicle my description is from me walking around the car looking underneath it and starting it up.. Here is a decent looking 1988 Mustang LX Convertible 5.0.. It has a 5Speed transmission and 108K miles on the Engine. Then Engine itself has been painted which sometimes means it was rebuilt but we have no record of this so we cant prove it was. So we will assume its stock.. In the engine compartment it looks like someone did a repair/match work on the strut tower area and there is some rust/rot as seen in pictures. Body: the body itself is in decent shape it does appear to have been painted before. No major rust, rot or dents from a quick walk around. Most of the top is in fair shape except the tears towards the rear window again shown in pictures. 16" Pony rims with the rear tires looks like they need to be replaced. Interior: This vehicle does have a roll bar, Power windows, Locks and Mirrors with A/C (not sure if it works) and a Pioneer CD player. The interior was painted black. It looks like it use to be Red in color. My opinion it looks decent but not sure how long it will last? We dont know what product they used to paint it. Undercarriage: I got on my knees and looked under the car it seems to have Flowmaster mufflers and it looks like someone put in floor pans. Besides that i dont see major rust underneath but i did not put this on a lift so i can only see so much.. It does start up and drive. It does sound good..This would be a perfect project car for a cheap price. No reserve on t his auction. there is no warranty with this vehicle and sold as-is.
