Vehicle Detail

You are looking at a 1965 Oldsmobile Cutlass 4-4-2 F-85 2 door hardtop. The story as told to me was that this car originally was a 4-4-2. The car was involved in an accident and the original body was taken off. A Cutlass body was installed on the 4-4-2 chassis. The car is white with blue interior. All mouldings and trim are intact except for the Oldsmobile letters on the trunk lid, the rear window mouldings and the top and left side windshield moulding. All of the glass is in very good condition. The body is very straight. The car will need a new trunk floor and lower rear quarters. The passenger side door, fender and rocker is solid. The driver's side fender is rotted on the bottom. There is some rot on the rocker by the front fender. The driver's side door has a rot hole in the bottom front corner. The hood is rotted along the front edge. The deck lid is solid with no rot. The floors also look solid. The rear window channel has some rot on the left and right sides. The front window channel has some rot above the windshield on the right side. The passenger side hood hinge is bad. The bumpers are fair. The radiator support, inner fenderwells and firewall are solid. All underhood accessories such as the horns, wiper motor, etc are intact. The frame appears to be in very good solid condition. The interior is complete. The seats / headliner are in fair condition. The dashpad has no cracks. The car has bucket seats with an automatic column shifter. The drivetrain consists of a 400 4bbl engine with Mickey Thompson M/T valve covers and unknown brand headers. The carburator appears to be a remanufactured Quadrajet. The cylinder heads are part number 383821. The transmission I believe is a two speed automatic. The rear is a 10 bolt posi with a factory rear sway bar and extra long wheel studs. It also has power steering and power drum brakes. The car also has Flowmaster mufflers and Super Stock II factory mag wheels. The cowl tag reads, "65-33837 950B 2X G 4V SW LAN15398 R8". I believe the engine has a Crane Compucam part number 790621 camshaft. The engine turns freely by hand. The oil is clean as is the antifreeze. The car comes with keys but no title. It is sold on a bill of sale. The car has not run in a number of years. This would be a great restoration or restomod project.Would make a great parts donor or a good start for a drag or FAST class car. Please contact with any questions you may have. The car is located in New City, NY 10956. It is sold as is, where is, with no warranties expressed or implied. Buyer is responsible for all transportation arrangements and fees. A 50% deposit is within 5 days of the auction end. The car must be picked up within 10 days of auction end with the balance due on pick up. Powered by eBay Turbo Lister The free listing tool.
