1995 Caprice Classic Station Wagon * 156,000 miles- purchased 3 years ago with 120,000 on it * I was told this was a sunshine car (summers in Maine and winters in Florida) when I bought it and believe this to be correct as there is no rust anywhere that I have seen * 8 passenger car * Gets a solid 25 mpg on the highway (got 25.1 last summer when we took it to Missouri) * LT1 engine- new timing chain/gears, gaskets, opti-spark, MAP sensor, Throttle Position Sensor, coil, ignition module, & oil level sensor * 4L60E trans- fluid changed twice * BFG tires have some decent tread-life left mounted on Chevy rally wheels * Custom grill- outside is painted to match car and center is powder coated black * Headliner and sunvisors recovered * Installed a class 3 hitch * CD player with MP3/iPOD input * Since purchasing this I have replaced the following: front shocks, rear air shocks (twice), fuel tank (with new sending unit and pump), rear hatch actuator, power steering pump, alternator, plugs & wires, K&N filter installed, computer with custom tune included(still runs on 87 octane), radiator, installed extra trans cooler so trans fluid gets cooled 3 times, fuel filter, heater core, heater hose assembly with correct restrictor, & the serpentine belt * AC blew cold over the summer although I did have to add some refrigerant * Body is very straight although we just had a run-in with a deer (gotta love hunting season). It did put some minor dents along the left side and destroyed the mirror on the driver’s door which is being replaced. * Runs great- really gets up and goes, would never guess it has a 2.56 rear * Pulled the engine to replace the gaskets/timing gears and the inside of it was spotless. Also took the time to clean the throttle body, MAF sensor and paint everything to make it look respectable. * Hate to part with it after all this work but my wife has started as a nurse and I want her to have all wheel drive for the winter On Dec-12-10 at 08:03:51 PST, seller added the following information: Tires have 36,000 miles on them and the lug nuts are McGard. I reinstalled the "Home Plate" plenum on the air intake.
