Vehicle Detail
1960 Pontiac Catalina 2 door Bubbletop (Hardtop). This Pontiac was built in Atlanta, GA and has been in Middle Georgia since new. This Pontiac is equipped with Factory 389 V8 Engine, Automatic Transmission (3 speed), Power Steering, Power Brakes and working AM factory Radio. This is a True Survivor. Every instrument, gauge, light, and radio works on this Catalina. Under dash wiring is all factory with no alterations. This Catalina runs, drives and stops great. Brakes were recently rebuilt, including new shoes, wheel cylinders, and brake lines. The 389 engine runs great and smooth and the 3 speed Pontiac Automatic Transmission shifts smoothly. The engine compartment is detailed as original. The Paint is about 9 years old and is very slick. The body is very straight and solid. Their are no rust bubbles appearing even after all these years. Upon close inspection I did find some filler in the drivers lower rear quarter. The inner rockers are very solid as well as the floor boards. The Interior is very nice with new Factory style salt and pepper carpet. The seats are very nice. This Catalina was purchased recently from the original owner in Macon, Ga. The passenger rear door panel is worn at the very top because the owner said every Sunday he would take his dog for a ride and he would lean out rear passeneger window. We thought that was a neat piece of history and didn't repair. I recently installed new Coys Polished Wheels, 20 Inch front and rear with new tires and lowered the car 2 inches. This Catalina is one of the neatest styles around and the Coys Wheels really sets it off. The Stance is great and it still rides wonderful. I did retain the original wheels, tires and hub caps if you desire. The car cranks up great hot or cold, and runs cool. If you are looking for something different to Cruise in, this car will without a doubt command more attention than a Camaro or Chevelle, etc. This is without a doubt one of the best running and driving cars I have owned. I have taken several trips in her with great enjoyment. The car will be sold as is and I do reserve the right to end auction early only if the reserve has not been met. I have tried to describe this Pontiac honestly and accurately. If you are in the area please come by and inspect for yourself. If this is not possible please buy with confidence and review my E-Bay rating on a few other cars I have sold. If you have any questions PLEASE do not hesitate to call.
