This car is being re-listed due to recently being sold to a non-paying bidder. This time it is listed at no reserve, and I will not end the auction early to sell it. It will go to the highest bidder. I am selling a beautiful old Mercedes which came from the original owner. This Mercedes was built in Germany for the German market. In 1980 it sold for over $30,000 it currently has around 130k miles (215k km's). The car has always been garaged and it shows when looking at the interior which is in perfect condition. The car was originally purchased by a USAF officer stationed in Germany and it still has the military base sticker on the bumper. When he came back to the states he took the car with him to Colorado. He moved to Arizona in the mid 80's and again took the Mercedes Benz. The car was always well cared for which is why it is in such good condition. I don't think you will find a nicer 30 year old car for this money. This Mercedes runs very well. The A/C blows cold. The steering is responsive and tight, the brakes work well, the transmission shifts smoothly. The interior looks like new, the dash is perfect, the headliner looks like it did in 1980 when the car was sold. The sheepskin seat covers are in good condition and underneath the original seat fabric still looks like new(see picture). Being tht the car was always garaged and spent most of it's life in Arizona there is absolutely no rust on this car at all. This car is located in Scottsdale Arizona.
