1966 Galaxie 500 rolling shell -- comes with a valid Pennsylvania Title documenting a 7 Litre model 4-speed car. Here is what you are bidding on: Frame and all suspension components that were completely stripped and blasted to bare metal then professionally primed and painted with correct-luster Ford frame black. The frame is possitively MINT. Rear end restored to factory correct condition with new seals and gaskets (3.25:1 rear ration). Front end restored with all new bushings and suspension components. The frame and suspension components have over 100 manhours into their restoration and are ready to go. They need nothing and are an outstanding starting point for your "frame off" restoration of your 7-Litre. The hard part is done. There are no accessories on the frame. No brake lines or fuel lines. An excellent original fuel tank is included but not mounted. (For anyone wondering...this frame is specific to a hardtop and is not the same as a convertable.) All exterior sheet metal is included and is in very good to exellent condition. Body shell, doors, trunk, hood and front fenders. And that's all. This original body was from a XL -- and was a low-milage, mostly rust free car. All sheet metal was bead blasted and professionally primed. It has always been in dry storage -- never sat outside or in the damp. Front fenders and doors are nearly MINT with zero rust or damage. Bottom edges of the doors are flawless with zero rust or pitting. Cabin floor and trunk floor are flawless. No rust ever and no repairs. Rear quarter panels have some very minor minor rust that is very repairable, without any consideration of replacing the entire quarters. Right rear quarter has some minor bumps that will need to be straightened. Flawless windshiled and back light are set in with new rubber seals. Perfect door glass is in the doors but not adjusted, Rear wheel wells are perfect. Front wheel wells are NOT included. There is also no radiator support. Absolutely no dash assembly. This auction is for a rolling shell, only. Also included is ALL correct body-boss tags for a 7-litre 4 speed car -- including the flawless-condition door tag. You will also receive some miscellancous 7-Litre parts including two correct front bucket seats (upholstry in poor condition, but very restorable); upper and lower rear seat; console frame without top, 7-litre steering column, and a variety of other misc. stuff. If you want to do a great restoration of your 1966 Galaxie hardtop, the starting bid price FAR EXCEEDS what you would spend to get this far. The work done thus far is quality and professional. No half-ass shoddy workmanship. This car has MANY miles to go to be completed -- but it is an outstanding start. Car is located in Spring City, Pa.
