Vehicle Detail
Up for your consideration is our 1995 GMC Safari minivan. We are the second owners of this van and it has served us well up until about a year ago when the fan clutch went out and it overheated. This was repaired along with a new water pump, gaskets, hoses, etc....but the damage had already been done. Shortly after this it developed a slight miss and then it began to develop a slight knock which I now believe is a rod knock. The vehicle is running and drivable but I wouldn't want to leave on a cross country drive with it....While going down the road it is very quiet inside. Doesn't wander and shifts excellent. Develops approx 40 psi oil pressure at road speed however it drops to approx 5 psi at idle.....A lot of recent maintenance has been done on this vehicle from new tires, alignment, ball joint, tie rods and idler arm, fuel pump, fuel filter, trans service, plugs, cap, rotor, wires, alternator, u-joints, windshield, power window motors and switches, air conditioning condenser and line set to name a few. My original plan was to eventually change the engine since everything else seems to be solid but my circumstances have changed and I now have another vehicle to use as our second get-a-round driver so this one must go. It is and was prior to my purchase, a non-smoking vehicle so there are no lingering smoke smells in the vehicle. It is clean inside with very minimal wear on any of the upholstery. Back side of drivers seat has been stitched on the seam as shown in one of the pictures. It has two bench seats and two buckets, which gives seating for 8. Bench seats fold down and can be easily removed if needed. Outside, it has the usual scratches and wear and tear you would expect on a vehicle of this year. Rust is minimal. I believe I have described this vehicle to the best of my knowledge and it is being sold as is, where is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Title is clear and in my possession.
