I HAVE A 1940 DODGE BUSINESS COUPE UP FOR AUCTION . IT has been in my possession for about 2 yrs& unfortunately don`t have time to do . This car has been off the road & stored for "many yrs ".As you can see by the photo`s, its a basket case! Its "ROLLER".The body is resting on the stock frame .Front end is original ,rearend is newer,out of some type of CHRYSLER, MAYBE A VOLARE OR ASPEN ?I am not certain. The car is full of body parts to make the shell complete.1 extra set of front fenders,& 1 extra grill & grill shell.Nice original dash (gauge cluster )& some new glass. Door glass is original.complete front & rear bumpers are here with bumperetts but need re chroming . I know some parts are missing such as running boards,steering column & seat. there is no motor or transmission for this car ( sorry ). The body seems to have been sandblasted & primed yrs ago, but is now wearing thin.The trunk& tailpanel are in good shape as are the floors & rockers.firewall & cowl are still intact. The roof is straight but does have a couple of small holes & perforations but are easily fixable.The lower cowl on both sides behind front fender areas & lower left rear quarter by drivers door could use some attention . Its a great candidate for a fat fendered project car or nostalgia drag car !Would make an awsome gasser.However, i wouldn`t rule out a nice total restoration project either .
