Untitled Document Mercedes-Benz 1987 Model W126 300SDL Black/Grey The ultimate perfect Daily driver ! Engine coded OM603 6cylinder, turbo diesel. Intro This is a 300SDL W126 6 cylinder engine. This particular car is in very solid condition for its age and is the ultimate family daily driver car! It is more efficient and more powerful than the previous 5 cyl model. This car gets very good mpg, ranging from ~24mpg city and ~30mpg highway. It all depends on your speed and how heavy your foot is. This 300SDL can cruise with 85-90mph all day long no problem. It’s very advanced compared to the 5 cyl previous model . Exterior The exterior is Black MB code 040. The paint is as shiny as a brand new car. The body is straight without accidents. I would score it 7.5 out 10, (10 being show condition). The front and rear bumpers show some oxidation. Tires are in very good condition and they have a lot of tread left. The wheels are not perfect but are presentable. Two imperfections: on the roof near the sunroof, the paint is cracked due to long term parking under a tree, and there is a small chip on the hood. Overall, the condition of this car is very clean and presentable. You will not be disappointed! Interior The interior is gray and it has normal wear for its age, as you can see from the pictures. The zebrano wood has some clear coat cracks. The dash has a dash cover. The Leather steering wheel is in good condition. The Becker stereo works fine, along with all the speakers. There is a new front windshield. The Heater and AC work well. The power seats, on both the driver and passenger side, move/work in all positions, sunroof is working slow. The central lock works perfectly. Two keys are included. Mechanical This car has a very strong running engine. It starts right after the glow plug yellow light is off, regardless of the outside temperature. The engine doesn’t smoke even on hard acceleration once warmed up. It does idle smoothly and revs without issues. Brakes are very strong. Over all the condition of the car is in solid condition and it’s the perfect daily family driver. This car is ready to drive tons of miles with minimal maintenance. There is No sales tax at this auction, the title will be transferred right on the new owner. It has clear title in hand.
