The bike sat in a garage for half of it's life. Although when I bought it, it started right up. I bought a new chain, gaskets, and cleaned up the engine. Everything works and the bike runs great. The headlight switch has become loose over the years and sometimes power won't connect to it. This bike is a collector and I have managed to maintain all the original pieces of the body.
