1984 was the first year for the 3.2 liter Carrera - the model that was produced through 1989 to follow the famous 3 liter SC cars. This is a well maintained cab that is being offered as a seasonal special with the oncoming winter looming. The previous owner was a friend that devolped health issues and he no longer can drive a car with a clutch. Slate blue metallic (paint code 661) with navy top (in "as new" condition)and navy interior including leather sport seats. 140,000 miles but always garaged and well serviced - car is very strong mechanically and runs like a champ. Polished 7"& 9" Fuchs. No kept records, other than the factory warranty and maintenance book that contains many early service stamps but car is very tight and PPIs are encouraged. Previous owner was not what I would consider a "Porsche fanatic" but rather a guy that liked nice things and this car was more of a weekend toy that was not a garage queen but a good weather cruiser that he enjoyed from time to time. Car starts right up with no smoke - even when dead cold and idles perfectly - tracks true and tight and makes excellent horsepower. This should help bridge the service history a little better than was previously known. This cab runs very well and the reserve is not far from being met. I have had a ton of emails asking for the reserve as well as what is the overall condition of the car.
