This auction is for a 1993 Ford Explorer XLT that runs and drives good and has a very clean interior. It has a 4.0 liter, 6 cylinder engine with an automatic transmission and it has 111445 miles on it. A 12 disc CD changer has been added to go along with the AM/FM cassette stereo system. It also has a remote starter, which is very nice in the winter. A new fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, and shift cable have all been recently installed. The tires have about 90% of their tread left and the full size spare has 100% tread. The vehicle has never been in an accident and is owned by a non smoker. The front tires don't have a good seal with the wheels and will very slowly lose air. There is some rust by the bottom of the back doors and near the rear wheels. The frame and suspension also have rust on them and it's typical for a vehicle of this age. There is a slow leak from the radiator when it is running, but it doesn't leak at all when it's turned off. The Explorer has push button four wheel drive and sometimes it takes a few tries before it starts working in cold weather. Full payment for the vehicle is required within 7 days of auction close.
