Vehicle Detail
This is a very early production 1946 California built Power Wagon. #223 built in CA. Body is very good and very solid. In fact I can find no rot anywhere. Original drivetrain is all intact. It has been sitting a few years since last ran. I have it in storage and will go this week to fire it up again and will update auction (with video). But is needs total restoration and can't be driven. It is missing the tailgate, correct seat, steering wheel and running boards. What you see is what you get, a very good candidate for complete restoration. I have no title, bill of sale only and I have the completed CA DMV form for lost title by the previous owner. The original Vin Tags and Body tags etc.. are all still on truck and unaltered. I will update auction after I go to storage and ad more photos and a link as well, so check back. I would suggest checking to find a shipper after you win the auction on uship.com. I can help load and will make myself available to meet you or your shipper anytime. Please ask questions before bidding. I will let the photos speak to condition as well-On Nov-30-10 at 18:27:17 PST, seller added the following information: Here is a link to more photos- http://community.webshots.com/album/579076177DSuLbo You may have to cut and paste to your browser window. I was able to go start it today (briefly). This is the video- http://rides.webshots.com/video/3049148580067287234FjxRqg I bypassed the electrical with an aligator clip to the coil, sanded the points clean, used a lawnmower gas tank to the carb and she fired up. Carb was leaking so I just ran it for a second. WIll need at minimum, carb cleaned, points, cap, rotor, plugs etc.. I added fluid to the master cylinder and it started dripping from the rear at the rod so I left the brakes alone. Master will need rebuilt. On Dec-01-10 at 10:49:06 PST, seller added the following information: I am seriously considering pulling the auction and parting this truck out as I have more $$ in it than it currently stands. I hate to do that as it is a great candidate for complete restoration, and very solid.
