BEST CAR FOR THE MONEY!! FACTORY AC CAR, SOLID!!! This Fairlane 500 is one of the best cars you will find for the money!!!! Strong running 302 V8, automatic, formal roof and vertually rust free. It is a factory AC car, but the compressor is no longer there. The car belongs to my son who is in the military and now has new orders and can not take the car with him so his loss is your gain. You can drive this car while you work on it!! Here is the run down: Runs and drives strong. Has power disc brakes. Body is very solid. The only rust spot we have found is a nickel size spot just behind the left rear wheel and that is it. Notice the pictures of the trunk and gas tank. This is all original. The interior is in good condition as you will see in the pictures. The dash has no cracks. The seats are in nice condition except for the bottom of the drivers side(easy fix), and one small tear in the headliner in the very back, almost not noticable where it is. Carpet is a cheaper aftermarket and could use replaced. The power steering hose needs replaced in order for the power steering to work. Windshield has a crack in it, all other glass is great!!! My son was in the process of removing the side trim and filling in the holes. He does still have the emblems to go back on the car. The car will not take much to get it ready to paint. It also is supporting the rare chrome GT wheels! The formal roof line really gives this car a nice look! You would be hard pressed to find a more solid car you can drive while you work on for this price!
