1990 Honda Interceptor

Hello everyone! Up for sale is a 1990 Honda Interceptor/VTR250 in very good condition. This bike belongs to my wife. She is looking to upgrade to a bike with a larger cc engine. We have had the bike for a little over a year. We bought it from a private owner. My wife did not like the color scheme, so we had it painted and the seat re-upholstered. As you can see in the photos, she is a Dallas Cowboys fan. The bike was painted by a professional. The Cowboys decals were placed on the bike and then the clear coats were sprayed over them. There have been no mods to the engine, but is has been serviced regularly by a professional mechanic. It has been shed kept since we have owned it. It has never been downed or raced. It has only drank 93 octane. We keep the battery on a maintainer when it is not being ridden. The tires have many miles left on them. There are no bends in the frame. The bike is in very good shape. You must see to believe! Pictures do not do it justice! We could still smell the exhaust pipe coating the first time my wife rode it this season. The bike starts right up with no trouble. There are no engine problems. The picture shows current mileage, but it may increase before sale. We won't ride it far. Just enough to keep it from not sitting long. There are a few cosmetic blemishes to the engine enamel and the wheels. The engine enamel is chipping a bit on the side. The wheels have a few knicks, but still look great when they are clean. Other customization includes: 1. Carbon fiber tank pad. 2. Carbon Fiber, clear lens, turn signals 3. Carbon fiber frame sliders. 4. Carbon fiber fuel cap cover (All bought right here on Ebay!) 5. A/C outlet under the seat for cell phone charger, Ipod, GPS. etc. Along with the bike, the winning buyer will receive two OEM Honda ignition keys (fit the helmet lock, seat lock, and fuel cap also), an owner's manual, OEM tool kit, and a repair manual. Clear title in hand and an August, 2011 VA inspection. This bike is perfect for a beginner or a smaller person. We also have a pair of white leather, hard knuckle, Fieldsheer riding gloves-size small and barely used. Also we have a black modular Vcan helmet with a brand new face shield-size large and two years old. We will throw in either or both with the bike if interested.
