Up for auction is 1965 International Scout from Colorado. It has a clear "Rebuilder" title. The 4 cylinder engine runs good and does not smoke. It has lock-out hubs, new windshield, the hard top is from a 1970 Scout (good shape). Known problems are: carburetor bowl leaks - rebuild kit will fix (not included), according to the previous owner, the key that couples the drum to the axle shaft sheared off on the left rear wheel. Haven't had time to look at it but that's appears correct. - fix not known. Clutch linkage needs adjusting (works but a little hard to shift). Brakes need to be looked at (the master cylinder is dry). Needs door hinge and handle parts to mount doors (they are not attached to the body at this time). There are no front seats. Needs headlight bezels. Roll bar shown in pictures not included. I want to mention that the driver side door skin is pushed in. It might not show in the pics. Not hard to fix. Passenger rocker panel is dented and there are other dents (body not perfect) but this Scout is in very good condition for its age. It's really a solid truck. I have described this vehicle as accurately as possible disclosing all known problems. A $450 deposit via PayPal is required 24 hours after end of auction and balance due in cash at time of pickup. No checks. This No-Reserve Auction is kept short due to time limits. Vehicle must be picked up within 8 days of end of auction unless prior arrangements are made.
