Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is a pretty cool Honda CB 350 Bobber. Has been "swing arm hard tailed" with a 4" stretch. Frame is stock otherwise. I bought the bike 2+ years a go as a running candidate for bobbing. Pulled the engine(running great at the time) and freshened with completely new pionts plate assembly, new condensers, and rebuilt coils. Followed by rebuilding the carbs, adjusting the valves, setting the timing, and removing the electric start system from the engine(kick only, starts easily). Rewired the bike with minimal wiring, has charging system, hi/lo headlight, brake/tail lite. It needs a set of "bug catchers" fabbed for the carbs. I was going to make some from 2" aluminum tubing but just never did. Has been ridden with oiled filter foam held to the carbs with a clamp, works fine, I think it just needs a better look. Bacically its a bare bones bobber and a bit crude in comparison to a stock bike. The faux oil tank hides the electrics, even has an old oil temp gauge from my Sportster. The front forks were disassembled and worn parts, seals, bushing, etc. were replaced. New brakes in the rear(rear only). New o-ring chain. Tires are new. Front wheel is a custom laced 19" spoolie(high$). Mufflers are Triumph repros. Really give the bike the proper vintage look, sound killer too! There are bucked aircraft rivets in the rear fender and stay, just because. The seat is a Larosa leather with a polished pan. With the 5" springs it rides a well as my Sportster on shocks. Tank was cleaned and creamed. Bike is painted in hand rubbed lacquer. There are two small really non issues. The small side plate on the right engine cover has a small repair at the the top(shows in pic), and one of the lower mount bosses on the engine is missing a small chunk, not bad fo a 40yr old bike! I have put about 100mi part time riding on it with no issues and no leaks. I finished this bike in early summer. Finances forced its sale, and it sold on ebay to a buyer in Canada for $3650.00. Just as it was about to be shipped Canadian Customs informed him it would not be allowed through because if its modified frame, so please no Canadian buyers(nothing personal!) Will be sold with a current Ga. registration, bill of sale, and an extremely rare for this year clear Ga. title(Ga. only titles vehicles 15yrs and newer). There are also spare parts included, stock front wheel, another rear wheel, another new rear tire and the usual junk box of removed parts Local pick-up only or buyer arrange shipping, and I will meet your shipper at the end of my drive. Sold as-is, listed locally, subject to local sale.
