1989 Suzuki rgv250 tzr nsr kr250

1989 Suzuki RGV250 RGV 250, V twin, 2 Stroke 2 cylinder, water cooled. Race bike replica, not a commuter or touring bike. If you dont know what this bike is, then you dont want it. Rare and collectible, started in 1987 then stopped making them in 1997. Never sold in the US. Same engine as the Aprilia RS250, made until 2003, so parts are easy to get. Makes a good collector or race bike. All the lights are there if you want to ride it on the street if you can get it registered in your town. Never titled in the US, will sell with a bill of sale only. CONDITION: THIS IS A PROJECT BIKE, This bike has been sitting, tires have thread and cracks but hold air, they need replacement. Fuel tank is rusty, doesnt leak, but can be saved with that creme product. You can get a complete set of new fairings plastic on ebay for $250-350 plus shipping. Paint the tank and you have a new looking bike. Motor has good compression and spark. I cleaned the carbs, had to order a set of cable holders for the choke cables, which I got at my local suzuki shop, after I get those I can start it. I have the original key that fits the ignition, fuel tank, and rear compartment. I have not run the motor, but assuming its ok? Brakes need pads (brake parts are easy to get), master cylinders need rebuild. Needs fork seals, other misc things i am sure, It needs a good going over. Good news: almost all the parts are there, I dont know if any are missing. It appears all stock without any modifications. Frame is straight and looks like its never been wrecked. The value of this bike is that its all there, you will need very little to make it worth the 6K to 10K I see these going for.
