1984 Honda SABRE

I am selling my 1984 honda sabre v65, This bike only has 1089 original miles!! I purchased this bike from the original owner who Bought it off the showroom floor in 1984. Bike Is 100% original except for the plugs the coils and the battery which all are new. Bike purrs like a kitten and has a TON of torque. But I figure If you are looking for a v65 you already know these were THE bikes to have in the 80's. Tires are original dunlaps, while they have a ton of tread since they only have a thousand miles on them,But they are dry cracked quite a bit and I would NOT recommend riding til new tires are Installed. Bike has never been down but previous owner said his son got to close in garage and put a little tear on seat on lowere leftside. there is a small piece of black tape over the tear The bike does have some aluminum oxidation and some pitting at various places. while It has been just moved around the garage year after year, It has been a Michigan bike since day one and we get some moisture up here. I have wanted a v65 since I was 16, and having gotten one I feel that I am more a Goldwing guy at my age now, then a straightline 121 hp rocket kinda rider. lol ABSOLUTELY no second gear issues. everything works as it should including all digital instrumentation. If you are looking for THE lowest mileage v65 on the road I would be hard pressed to think there Is one sitting somewhere with less miles.
