Vehicle Detail
I bought this car from the original owner in Florida in 1964. It was our second car and a daily driver until 1978. We drove it occasionally after that but less as the years went on. I started to recondition it in 1992 and had the following work done. Engine tune-up rebuilt carbs Replaced bushings, trunnions, shocks, seals, ball joints alignment Replaced exhaust system (still looks new) Replaced clutch cylinder All new brake lines rebuilt all wheel cylinders New tires new carpeting (still in package) New Tonneau cover (never used) new seat covers (partially installed) Bought used fiberglass hardtop (needs painted) It does not have a soft top, however the supports do fold and work properly. I have the original sidecurtains but they need rebuilt. I also have newer replacement sidecurtains but they are not the quality of the originals. I still have the original manual, tool kit, extra parts (trunk lid and spare tire cover). The car has been sitting idle for more than a few years now and as much as I would like to restore it, at age 73 I do not have the time, energy or patience to tackle that job. There are a few rust problems. The drivers and passengers side have rust holes in the floor. The trunk has a couple small holes and the right side rocker panel is rusted. The front of the car is a little wrinkled from a poor repair job but in spite of a few wrinkles and a little rust, I still consider it a good solid car,
