This 1987 mercedes 300e with champagne paint runs well.This car has been my train station car for 7 years. and it has always started and gotten me where I was going. Has been well maintained. For the last two years the transmission does not shift into 4th, so on the advice of Alan my Redline mechanic in Chatham, New York, I have been driving it in 3rd and it runs great, I just try not to go over 80 mph. I now have two other newer Benz's, and simply do not need this one. It would be a great train/ country/ farm car as is. or the transmission could be repaired and it would be great primary car. As it has been well maintained by Redline in upstate New York and Autobann in Manhattan, it has many new parts and new rear tires, so it would even make a great parts car.The interior is in good condition.The paint clear coat is coming off.The radio works well. The sun roof does not open. Make an offer it is a good car and it would be waist to junk it. It now lives in zip 12173 near Hudson, NYBut was in Atlanta, Georgia most of it's life.
