Greetings - I have a 1979 Porsche 928, 5-speed & Guards Red - In my attempt to do some work on the fuel system, I shattered all the vacuum lines(as they were over 30 years old and very brittle)and cant figure out how to replace them, so the car is NOT running - Although it ran like a beast 6 months ago. Cant afford to take it to a Porsche mechanic and cant fix it myself - SO, my screw-up is someone elses gain. Car is a perfect candidate for a restoration project or a Renegade Hybrids Chevy 350 conversion(my recommendation) Love this car, but just cant afford to fix it - if you know how to work on 928's this may be perfect for you - Also, part of the exhaust system is missing. Shipping will be responsibility of buyer, but I will do everything on my end to assist - I also purchased and will include the 9 volume mechanics repair manuals on disc - Car is also for sale locally, as I'm looking for a bike or boat to trade, so I may end the auction if it sells.
