This original paint bike had a complete engine overhaul five years and 2,500 miles back. The crank was inspected and fitted with new main bearings by Ed Korn. All other engines bearings and seals were replaced at that time. The slingers were renewed, and the top end was rebuilt: cylinders honed and fitted with new pistons and rings, valves, guides, valve springs and valve seats replaced or redone as appropriate. The clutch was replaced. The carburetors were rebuilt with a kit from Bing International. The paint, as stated is original and is in generally good conditions. The bike looks good, but certainly not new. There are no dents and only small blemishes. Still this is not a concourse bike, although it would fare well in AMCA judging as an unrestored machine. The chrome is good, mufflers are stainless steel, speedometer was rebuilt at Palo Alto. Both side and center stands are in place. This bike has a 6 1/2 gallon Sport Gas Tank. Magneto has a new coil. Bike starts and runs well, hot or cold. I did the rebuild on this bike in 2004, then sold it to a friend. He decided to sell it this year and I bought it back. But I really have too many, and this one has to go. I did a service and rode it for a while to make sure there were no problems. The engine is very smooth and quiet, also this bike has always had a lot of power for an R60, I don't know why... Bike is to be sold with a reasonable reserve. I will require a deposit of $500 within 24 hours, and balance in one week. Pick up with cash is best, but I will help to ship at your expense. I will not release the bike until all monies have cleared, allow 7- 10 days for checks. Bike is to be sold with a Connecticut Registration and Bill of Sale- Connecticut doesn't issue titles for bikes of this vintage. I am in western CT.
