Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 2003 300A Mercury Marauder. This will be a one week only, fixed price auction. If it does not sell it goes to the dealer for a few dollars less. The car is in great shape and has always been serviced as required. Everything works on this car. I have enjoyed driving this car over the last 6 years. It is very comfortable to ride in on long trips as well as daily commutes. Optional equipment includes a trunk mounted 6-disk CD changer. Over the last 3 months the following has been done · New Tires o I have put Pirelli P-Zero Nero tires on the front. I have been though 4 sets of the standard BF Goodrich front tires and they have all worn on the edges very quickly (alignment is good). The P-Zero are holding up great after 5K miles o The backs are BF Goodrich · New Motorcraft spark plugs · New serpentine belt (A good one) · New differential cover gasket · New Mobil 1 75W - 140W oil and friction modifier to refill the rear axle housing Over the last 6 months the following has been done · New Water Pump · Coolant system flush and refill with premixed 50/50 · New Ford exhaust manifold gaskets (The stock ones worked better than the aftermarket ones) · Stage 8 locking header bolts Over the last 12 months the following has been done · New lower ball joints (Both Sides) and alignment · New Battery There has been over 5k invested in performance parts and professional service for this car that allows it to turn mid 13’s in the ¼ mile but still get 22mpg on the highway. This is not your father’s Grand Marquis! Performance upgrades include: · K&N Aircharger Kit. · 180 degree thermostat · STEEDA underdrive pulleys · Ford Racing Products 4-10 Gears (you run about 2,300 rpm at 70mph) · A full Kook’s exhaust – all stainless (Picture is not of my car, it is only to show the set up on a Marauder) o 1 5/8” long tube headers with a 2 1/2“ collector § Collector gaskets are Percy’s Dead Soft Aluminum o High Flow Cat’s o X- Pipe o Magna Flow high flow mufflers o This all connects to your stock tailpipes for an incredible sound that can turn heads · Paul’s High Performance Intake Spacer · Power Slot Brake rotors and EBC “red stuff” ceramic brake pads o This stops the car very well · The best upgrade I have done is the Stage II performance intake (Pictured) – This is a stock lower plenum that gets hogged out and extrude honed with multiple passes in both the short and long runners. The interior surface is then polished and coated for outstanding long term breathability. The upper plenum is then hogged out and hand polished. The car was then personally tuned by Paul Svinicki himself. The Chassis Dyno results were in excess of 300 HP and 315 ft/lbs torque at the rear wheels (RWHP). Included in the price of the car is my SCT Xcal 2 tuning device (Pictured) and all receipts for parts and service. There are a few scratches and stonechips in the paint, but this is to be expected with a car that has some miles on it. You will notice that there is the remains of a bumper magnet on the back of the car next to the Mercury symbol. I will do my best to get this taken off before the vehicle to handed over. Update on 11/16 - Sucessfully removed !!!!! Thanks for looking!
