Up for sale is this '69 Beetle convertible. This car was bought as a project to rebuild as a daily driver but our attention has been redirected to other projects. This car is a good little driver with a 1600 that runs nicely. The car has been lowered with a narrowed beam in front and by torsion readjustment in the rear. The wheels are original EMPI Sprint stars that have been restored. The top is, for the most part, in-tact but will need attention or replacement to be a daily driver. The top boot is in good shape and looks nice. The body itself has a decent red paint job that was sprayed within the last year. The body and pan are both in fair shape needing rust repair to be perfect. Front turn signals are shaved with a Mexican-style front bumper with blinkers. The car needs finishing touches here and there, the only major ones being a replacement passenger-rear window-frame, and new scrapers. Speedometer/odometer needs a new cable and mileage is not accurate. This is not a show car, the pictures speak for themselves; it is a nice running, good looking, run-around car that could be restored to perfection, is fun to drive, and gets lots of looks! Here's the legal stuff... A $500 non-refundable deposit will be due within 48hs. Shipping is up to the buyer but we will happy to asist as best we can, and have some reputable local drivers. Please ask questions before you bid as all bids are considered a binding contract, all sales are final, and bidders not remitting a deposit or paying in full will receive negative feedback. This car will be sold with a signed pink-slip and all registration is the responsability of the buyer.
