I have a 1968 Mercury Cougar...Original 302 Motor....Original Interior Will start and Run but runs rough, needs a Tune Up! Body is pretty straight but needs a little bit of work What I know that it Needs: Tune Up Floor Pans Paint Job Gas Line Needs To Be Flushed Out Vinyl Top Interior Needs Some Work HAVE CLEAR MISSOURI TITLE!!! Answer: Its been sitting so long the Gas in the Tank needs to be Flusehed Out! So it should be Trailered to its new home! Question: Is this the same Cougar that was listed a few Weeks ago? Answer: Yes it is! Question: I was interested in it the first time. So one question I have is does it run like like what they said in the first listing they said it ran good. Why I ask is you are reselling it so quick Answer: After getting it I realized that I do not have the time nor the money to put into it to get it up and fully running! It does start, weve had it started but how he had it running and driving I have no idea, you need to flush out the Gas Tank! It does look like its been sitting a long time, I found Wasp Nests in it! There is one area on the drivers side floor that needs a patchs! Ive priced that patch and its about $20 on Mustangsunlimited.com! That section is the worse that I seen! Overall the car is in pretty good condition, I was suprized how straight the body is! It does leak transmission fluid as the last guy said! As I said though, I personally just dont have the time or money to put into this car like I thought I did! Question: I am still interested in it how ar the front seats they are covered and can't seem them and the dash do you think its just a tune up or do you think the motor needs rebuilt. Do the lights work properly Answer: Yes the Front Seats are Covered with Seat Covers! The Dash is in really good condition, I will take a Picture Tomorrow and Post it! It does need a headliner and Vinyl Top! The lights all work however the covers did not pop up when we turned them on! Answer: Im sorry, I cant get pics of under the car, I really have no way of getting them...I am being very honest with you when I tell you about this car and as I stated it DOES need Floor Pans, the worse being on the drivers side...I will try to take a picture of the drivers floor to show you but I do not have a camera with a flash on it to show the underside of the car...I have a crappy virgin mobile cell phone with no flash...the car is right next to my house in the backyard with no sun shining down...I have given all other pictures of the car and if I could take those pictures I would! Again I am sorry!
