You are bidding on a 1968 F-100 Ford Ranger, Short-bed Pick-up. I bought this a few years ago with the intention to restore, but need the space and the money, so my loss is your gain. I don't know a lot on the history of this truck, although I was told that it spent most of its life in Oklahoma, but I cannot verify this. First of all let me state, "THIS IS A PROJECT, AND IS IN NEED OF A FULL RESTORATION". Now that that is said, let me describe as best as I can. This truck has a "Y" code 390 2bbl V-8 with and automatic transmission, it had a radio (currently missing) with few other options, with the exception of the Ranger package. The cab is very solid, but has some dings and dents around the headlamps and grill, and the bright work around the grill is in rough shape. The only rust in the Cab is the battery tray (See Picture), but the floor is solid and in great shape. The bed sides are in pretty good shape, the floor is rusted through, the tailgate is "so-so" and the frame is straight and solid. I was told the motor ran, but I cannot verify this so assume it will need work. I don't know anything about the condition of the Trans, but the drive shaft is removed (In the cab) so assume again it needs work. Tires are no good, but the wheels are okay and they go with the truck. This is a no reserve auction, and it starts low enough, the engine, trans, and the rear-end are worth the starting price.
