1965 Mustang Coupe. I have owned this car since 1999. Restored in 2000. Restoration included the following: Body: Rear Quarters and Outer Wheelhouses, trunk pan, rear frame rails and GT rear lower valance. New Gas tank. Also installed Rear Seat fire barrier from Canadian Mustang. Interior: Seat covers and foam, Headliner, Instrument bezel, carpet. Glass: New Front windshield and D/S door glass. Trim: Front and Rear bumpers, rocker panel moulding, gas cap, grille, tail light bezels, 90% of the emblems. Exhaust: Dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and GT exhaust trumpets. Wheels/tires: Original style Rally wheel but oversized to 15x7 from Mustangs Unlimited. Tires are BFGoodrich T/A Radial 225/60R15 Rear, 195/60R15 front. Suspension: 620lb. coil springs front with 13/4 in. anti sway bar. Rear has new stock leaf springs with 2" lowering blocks, Air shocks. Brakes: 1967 dual master brake cylinder, otherwise stock 4 wheel drum brakes. Not pictured, but included: Original Factory Air Cleaner - Original OEM factory 14" steel wheel and white wall tires in great condition. This car runs and drives well. The restoration is 10 years old so there are some imperfections. I have personally put about 2000 miles on the car since 1999. What's wrong with the car? 1. Like every other mustang of this year the Power Steering cylinder leaks. Easy fix. 2. If your used to non power Drum Brakes you will have no issue, otherwise upgrade to front disc. An easy upgrade. 3. Paint is 10 years old and even though car was always garaged there are imperfection. *Nothing you can see fro 5 feet away though. 5. Cassette player does not work but I do have a brand New one in the box from CUSTOM AUTO SOUND USA-1 RADIO BLACK FACE 1967-1973. Just needs to be installed.
