BID NOW! 1998 Mitsubishi eclipse converted to electric about two years ago. 72 Volt system. Series motor manufactured by D&D motor systems. Alltrax 7245 PWM controller. Volt meter and an Amp meter for monitoring energy used. Schumacher battery charger charges the battery bank. Vacuum assisted brakes. Small electric heater in the dash for cool or frosty days. The motor has 1,000 miles on it, the body has 100,000 miles on it. Everything is still in good condition. Manual transmission, but can be driven like an automatic. 9 eight volt batteries and 1 twelve volt battery. The twelve volt is for any function other than motor power (lights, horn, radio, ect). All batteries were recently tested and found to still be holding their full charge. Top speed: 60mph on flat road. Recharge time: about 8 – 10 hours.
