1958 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner Retractable Hardtop Convertible VIN H8RW137096 3 speed manual O.D. transmission Title is CLEAR For sale is a 1958 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner retractable room sedan in restorable condition. The (electric) top mechanism is complete and works! (Video included) The interior seats are in excellent condition, however the sun visors need replacing. The dash is complete, has surface rust on most of the metal areas. The antenna is missing. There is replacement script for the car in the trunk (front hood and a rear side) the car runs strong but seems to be missing on cylinders 1/3/7. The lights work, except turn signals. Brakes work. Battery is new. The body is straight, however there has been a fair amount of repair work (filler) done to the rear quarters and rear deck lid. The front apron on the retractable roof is rusted through on the front underside corners. There is rust through in the rear trunk corners. The car is missing 2 hubcaps. The bottoms of the doors look good. We could not find the vin plate on the car, it appears to have been removed-perhaps when it was last painted. The rear bumper does not look to be correct for the car. The car is licensed with Washington State "Year of Manufacture" plates for 1958. Car is sold AS IS. Pickup and Shipping: Buyer is responsible to arrange for vehicle pickup, and pay for transportation or shipping to buyer’s location. Vehicle is located in Lakewood, Washington 98499. We do not deliver. We cannot store the vehicle beyond two weeks of close of sale. Sellers Payment Instructions A deposit of $500 is required within 48 hours of end of auction. Payment in full must be completed before the vehicle can be picked up or shipped. If balance due is not received with 7 days of close of auction and no other arrangements have been made, then the vehicle will be re-listed and the deposit forfeited. The deposit will not be returned. I will not create a bill of sale for price less than final bid. **ALL CARS SOLD TO BUYER WHO IS A WASHINGTON STATE RESIDENCE, BUYER WILL HAVE TO PAY SALES TAX AND LICENSING FEES.
