2000 Dodge Ram Van 1500 Conversion Van, 5.2 litre V8 Magnum, Powertrax Differential Installed(less than 5,000 miles) 9.25 Chrysler rearend w/3:55 gears, 2 new Tires in Front, 50% tread in rear, New Exhaust this summer, 7 passenger, rear bed/seat, RI inspection till 5/11..Strong engine Runs great, no check engine light, Some rust underneath, Small rust spot in front of RR tire Issues: Sometimes you have to take out of park and put into nuetral to start(Possible Nuetral safety swith), Sometimes you have to let up on gas to shift into 2nd gear(Done that for last 30,000 miles, might be front band adjustment, but I would continue to use as is), Gas gauge reads empty when less than half full, always did it since I owned it. I bought this Van at 119,000 5 years ago..My wife drove it till we replaced with minivan 1 year ago. I added the powertrax for traction at a boat ramp. It has a reiciever hitch. excellent tow vehicle. The shifting issue you might not even notice unless I told you, and in no way affects drivability. This van has many new parts and is a solid vehicle.
