I am the second owner of this original SPG. I purchased it 10 years ago from the original California owner. It has been extremely well cared for its entire life. The paint is original, with the exception of a few panels that the original owner had re-painted due to scratches. Overall the paint is still very nice and has a high gloss. Underneath, the car is in great shape, and there is absolutely no rust anywhere. The car has been regularly protected with Krown rustproofing. The interior is in great condition. The leather seats are very nice. The carpet looks like new, and the headliner was replaced a few years ago. The dash has only recently developed two cracks by the left speaker. Everything works well, including the power windows, locks, antenna, sunroof, cruise control and the A/C is ICE COLD! The car comes with the original stereo and equalizer. The motorized seatbelts have been replaced with conventional ones. The original seatbelts and trim are included. The car drives exceptionally well. The turbo is very powerful, and the tranny shifts well. The motor runs perfectly. The car has been very well maintained by SAAB dealers and specialists. I have all the records from new. It was just in for a major service and inspection ($1800). The following was completed: steering rack, 2 ball joints, CV boot, exhaust down pipe, sway bar bushings, oil change (semi synthetic), and AC service. The car passed the required Emission test without any trouble. Ontario has similar standards to States, such as California. In the past 500 miles it has had new Dunlop tires, front rotors and pads, battery, 4 new Bilstien shocks. The main engine computer was also replaced a few years ago. The car is a rare beauty in excellent condition. It is a solid and fun car to drive. Being my third vehicle, in addition to a low mileage Viggen convertible, something had to go. I am having a hard time parting with it, so it would be nice if an enthusiast gets it.
