1991 4Runner Diesel - SAS - California Title I am selling my 1991 Diesel 4runner. It is located in Atascadero, California. It is a 2LT conversion done about 3 years ago with a clean Diesel Title. No smog needed. Here are the specs; -2LT - Turbo Diesel. 12K on Rebuild engine. I put over $3,000 into the engine. New factory pistons, precups, etc.... The engine is solid. -1984 Solid Front axle swap - Dual T-cases -All-Pro Leafs 5" front / 6" rear - 35"s -4:88's with Locker front/posi rear -Rock sliders -Heavy Duty Rear driveshaft/ square front -Recarro front seats(they have a couple of small tears) -Front hoops with Rancho 9012's and cross over support -Cross over steering This is an almost complete project. Here is what it needs to be finished. -Mount rear shocks -intercooler -Front / Rear bumpers -Perminent wiring( I have a temporary starter button and ignition switch. Diesels only need 1 wire to run) -Cold air inlet to the Turbo -There is a small coolant leak where the upper hose goes to the radiator. -Hook up some aftermarket gauges that are partial install - A few small details that I will make note of for buyer. -Tags due from last year. No smog needed. This has been an amazing truck. I really need some cash fast and someone may end up with a sweet deal. I have taken it on the dusy and a couple of other trails. It gets amazing gas mileage on the trail and on the highway. I get about 25-26mpg on road trips and about 22-23 mixed driving. It just sips the gas on the trail. I am listing it way below what it is worth for a quick sale. This 4runner is worth about $12,000. Payment is cash at pickup with a $500 deposit due within 48hrs of auction closing. On Nov-08-10 at 10:20:40 PST, seller added the following information: I just wanted to add a few notes since I have been getting allot of questions. This is a purpose built vehicle for rock crawling and off-roading. It does not handle the same as a car or stock 4runner. This is true of any lifted 4x4 that has had the suspension modified. If someone wanted to build it as a commuter/freeway use or maybe an expedition vehicle it would be a good idea to lower it and put some smaller tires on it. It is an almost complete project though I have taken it on some 4wheeling trips there is still a little bit of work to do that I listed in the description. There is a coolant leak that I just noticed at the radiator and will need to be soldered. I may be able to get this fixed before pickup if someone wants to drive it a long distance. I checked with DMV and the tags are due. Their website said it is $298 to get them up to June 2011. Buyer is responsible for all DMV fees including title transfer fee's.
