Up for auction is a 1999 Ford Mustang GT. My loss is your gain. Have well over $5,000 invested om this car. Bought this car with a spark plug blown out of the passenger side head. Took to shop to have fixed. Told me it would be easier to just replace the whole head. So bought a used head off of a 1999 Crown Vic with 40,000 miles on it. Put motor together. Replaced head gasket, intake manifold gasket. Started the car and it ran very rough. So immediately turned it off. Got into a disagreement with repair shop and just am going to sell it as is. So was told it may be out of time or that it just wasn't the right head. He got rid of the original head so could not have it fixed. So basically you will need to replace the passenger side head or the motor. Car seems to be all original. Exterior clean, interior clean and loaded with options. Looks to may have had some damage to the front end at one time. The odometer shows 141,000 miles. Will have to be towed. Have never driven this car since purchashed. I put a 1999 Crown Vic head and valve cover on this engine, because thought it would straighten out the problem. Would have just added a breather to the valve cover.
