Vehicle Detail

I started this project around 2007, close to 2.5 years ago during my first deployment. Many many dreamy nights later, it's complete. It's everything I've ever wanted. Straight 70's chopper. Not some bs tag but a real chopper. This is a my 1965 Triumph Trophy with a rebuilt engine that was bored 60 over and, much to the neighbors dismay, is running with open drag pipes. The single Amal Carb has been rebuilt and is running choke free, like a good porn star. To save weight it is battery and coil delete, I'm running a Joe Hunt Magneto on the side with a finned Goodson cover using cloth spark plug wires with Rajah Clips. To try and keep lights running as good as possible, I have a Joe Hunt capacitor mounted under the seat. It has been stretched 4" and raked to give it that drag look I was seeking. It’s riding on a 21" front wheel with an Avon Speedmaster Tyre, with a 16" rear Double WW. The pegs are old Triumph rubber. The seat was done by Chris Olarte (Red Tail Leather). The tooled design is an old military symbol for my job. The forks are off of a 1971 Triumph and I used some P clamps (eye bolt risers) for risers to keep that low look. The Drag Bars are an unknown brand from a swap meet as is the front and brake light. The frame has been completely powder coated black, all wiring is new, and everything has been redone. The paint has been done by Kustom Paint by Chris out of my home town of Chicago and is top notch. If you know paint and seats you know these 2 names. It starts in 1 or 2 kicks and is fast as hell. This thing gets looks from everybody and is so much better in person. I will lose money on this but military move forces me to sell. Everything is top quality, this is not some POS put together to sell here. This bike was built with pride, care and love. I will accept Money order , cashier’s check, or cash in person. I will keep bike for as long as it takes you to setup shipping. I do not want to sell it but if you've been in the military you know what unexpected PCS moves do to your belongings. In this life material objects and projects come and go. So whoever gets this will be happy and will love everything about it, especially the rush of kicking the parallel twin to life. Payment in full within 7 days of auction ending with tracking number verifying sent funds please. Also I am asking nicely, please don't bid if you aren't going to pay. Don't bid then ask to see after you win to decide if you still want it and try to haggle price. My buddy had this happen to him and ebay fees and personal time add up. Thank you I was advised by ome helpful ebayers to add this statement so thank you, This is a 45 year old motorcycle, it is sold as is. Also the bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end auction at anytime. Also forgot to mention, I also have some Baron's Speed Shop White pegs, a Finned Oil Cooler, and some White grips if you decide to go that route I just kept everything black myself. I also will include an all eason bike cover I have for it and a spare set of cloth spark plug wires (rajah clips again, yellow with red and black stripes) Someone asked last listing so I will add it, THE FRAME AND ENGINE ARE TRUE NUMBERS MATCHING! This is a true chopper, took an old, unrestored unmolested Triumph Trophy and molested it into this. Inspection is thus too easy ince the numbers match. Clear Title, my home state. I'm 5'9" (5'10" with boots) 215 lbs and it fits fine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyKie9ccBX0 Sorry My wife started the video late but it starts in 1 kick, somebody requested the video though and wanted to post it asap
