Vehicle Detail
**UPDATE**10.31.10I AM having the clutch cable replaced (disregard notes about the clutch cable below)...I fixed/replaced it....and Ive NOT increased the price of the bike (these parts and labor are gonna cost me over $49....but Im not going to fool with the price of the bike). Here's the listing:VINTAGE 1969 SUZUKI TC-120 'CAT' ~About this Motorcycle~ MOTORCYCLE SPECIFICATIONS: *Flip top seat*Tri-form frame*Posi-Force lubrication*Posi-Select transmission(3 speeds for street...and 3 new speeds for the trail)(Very wide torque range)*Extra long telescope front forks (In very nice condition, I might add)...*Internal expanding drum brakes front and rear (are old/used and may need replacement, but they work)*Triple adjusting rear shocks ENGINE: *12 scrappy horsepower at a smooth 8000rpm DETAILS: *This motorcycle has scrambler styling (ALL factory/original)*Chrome fenders (shows some rust...see pics)*Front tire and tube are brand new*Rear tire has tons of tread left in it*Front headlamp has a crack in it and doesnt work*Seat is covered in tape (which is actually done pretty well)*There is a filter for the gas (new) which forbids rust from the tank to go through the engine (as there is rusting in the tank)...1-10 on the rust? I'd say a '5'.*The engine is NICE and runs VERY STRONG...see pics*Chain is lubed and shows no rust.*Rims are in excellent condition and shine up nicely (see pics)*From what I can tell, this bike is 100% original except for the petcock and tool kit*Overall, chrome is good-very good*Has original key in ignition (on/off)*It has a horn too!!! The motorcycle starts up and is mechanically sound. Starts on 1st or 2nd kick everytime!!! WHAT THE BIKE NEEDS: *This is a 41 year old vintage ORIGINAL Suzuki TC-120* *The clutch broke when I rode it today 10.29.10 (for the pics I took near the lake). The clutch cable needs to be replaced. (DISREGARD) Speedometer is there but doesnt work... *So....Im listing this classic 'Cat' as-is and am selling as-is. With a LOW starting price for a vintage motorcycle like this one. If I dont sell it now...Im going to move forward and have the work on it done from my mechanic and vintage motorcycle aficionado/specialist. A VERY similar Suzuki is being sold on eBay now and that seller wants almost 4x what my starting price is... If you wish to restore it so it will look pretty again (which is basically painting the tank and replacing the seat cover)....this bike would be a massive head turner!!! This is truly a unique opportunity to own a Vintage 60's Suzuki... And the best part??? THERE IS NO RESERVE!!!THERE IS NO RESERVE!!!THERE IS NO RESERVE!!! How many times do you see THAT?!?!??!
