FOR SALE IN THIS AUCTION 1969 Long Nose Porsche 911 Targa CONDITION: Good Condition Have owned the car for 20 years - has always been stored in a dry garage Drives well and can make long road trips FEATURES: Re-engined with 912 engine at least 20 years ago (exact date unknown) Owner does not have original engine 1971 Seats installed; 1969 seats also available (need some padding) Numerous Porsche 911 Manuals will be included ENGINE/TRANSMISSION: 5 speed transmission Mileage stated is for the car itself BODY: Targa Top headliner removed to be replaced but has not been replaced yet Top itself is in good condition and works without issue Small dent under rear left bumper Small rust spot, bottom right hand door (see pic) HISTORY: Originally a German car (complete with German owner's manual) In the past 20 years, car has been stored and occasionally used; moved from So. On Aug-11-10 at 16:40:53 PDT, seller added the following information: We have received several questions about the car so I will add this to the description. The car was used as a daily driver from time to time over the last 5 years. I found the car to be very reliable. The transmission is a 901 model 5speed. All the gears and syncros work well. The targa top works fine but I removed headliner cloth for replacement but haven't gotten to it. There is a bubble on the right door rear bottom and I will post a photo. The radio is several years old and has an ipod connection. There are kick panel speakers and dash mounted tweeters, with removable able box speakers in the rear, all work fine. The seats are 1971 I think, but I have the original seats the driver seat needs to be re-padded.
