Don't let the mileage scare you on this truck, these diesel engines are known to go beyond the 1,000,000 mile mark without major engine work, when properly cared for. This truck has been used as a work truck, but has never been abused or heavily worked. It was purchased new from Garland TX Ford in 2003 for $42,120. This truck is an absolute JOY to drive! It starts easy, idles smooth, shifts perfectly and firmly, has the optional 5 speed auto transmission in it makes perfect use of the wide torque range on the 6.0 liter engine. It accelerates very quickly, shifts perfect, cruises quietly and has the smoothest ride of any 4x4 I have ever driven. It brakes great with no shaking or squealing, just a smooth steady firm brake feel. Corners nicely, has no wobbles or shakes. All the doors open and close tightly and everything feels almost new on this truck. The exterior of the truck has some MINOR chips on the paint, and some LIGHT abrasions in the clear coat from tree branches, etc but this could be buffed out easily. Overall the body is very very straight and dent/ding free. There is a golf ball sized dent at the very bottom of the fender on the front driver side, but it is hardly noticable unless pointed out. Because this was a work truck, the inside of the bed shows a good amount of wear, scratches and dents, but the wear is exclusive to the inside of the bed/tailgate, and both are still very solid and perfectly functional. A rubber bed mat is included. All glass on the truck is perfect and no plastic is faded. Part of the lower bumper valance is missing, but this as well, is hard to notice. The tires are in fair condition. One is almost new, the other three have 5k or so miles left in them. The floor of the truck is very clean with minimal stains. The seats have had covers on them since new and all in all, they are very nice. The dash, gauges, headliner, everything is in excellent condition. All power options including mirrors, windows, locks, etc work perfectly. Cold AC, HOT heat. Truck shows NO signs of ever being smoked in. No smells, and no burns. CD player works well, and all in all, the interior of this truck is at least a 9 out of 10.
