We are proud to present to you this very nice 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible "442". There are many Cutlass's out in the world that have be redone with all new parts. The question you might ask is...Are you buying a 2010 "Year One", O.E.M., Etc. Cutlass or are you buying a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass...The car we are presenting is a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible. This has the original carpet, seats, dash pad , cluster, steering wheel, glove box, etc. The interior looks great with no rips or tears. This car is unique in that it comes with tilt wheel, cruise and remote trunk opener. The material top (not vinyl) is in great shape with a glass rear window. All the hydraulics work perfect and the top is very easy to close. The factory Am-Fm radio works well and functions as it should. The paint was just redone to the original color only using high quailty base coat and the best clear. The 442 striping was hand painted not decals. This classic car rides on the factory wheels with brand new tires. The brakes have all been serviced along with the transmisison. The glass is all original as I can tell and all the windows work well. The factory motor has just been rebuilt with all new pistons, rings, bearings, high pressure oil pump, waterpump, along with high perforamnce Elderbrock heads, Intake and 750 Carbureator. There is roughly 100 miles on the new motor. It also has new alternator, fan and MSD setup. This is one sweet motor. With the dual exhaust, it has a understated rumble. The car rides smooth down the road with no squeaks, noises, shakes or shimies. The front end has been done and the alignment has been performed also. The orginal bumpers are on the car, that have been powdered coated with a Harley Davidison Black. I had a hard time ordring aftermarket bumpers and still looking for good quality original bumpers. All the lights work and this car is ready for fun in the sun. The floor pans and rails look in great shape too!!...If you are looking for a true driver or a great start on a show car, you need look no further.
