1971 Pontiac Lemans Sport convertible Information obtained by me from Pontiac Historic Services says that in 1971 only the Lemans Sport convertible came through the factory with the ENDURA OPTION. If this is true this car is vary rare. V-8 350 with automatic that has not been started in about 10 plus years so this car HAS TO BE TOWED. The car did yard run and drive before parking it out behind my shed. I bought this car on 6/29/1994 to restore for myself but the years went and it just sat so here it is up for auction and it goes to the highest bidder. The only options it has is power steering and brakes,front disc brakes and convertible top. This car looks completely original with the interior all in place. The interior still needs to be restored but you have everything for a great start. It does have front bucket seats and a floor shifter with console. The convertible roof needs replacing but all the hardware is in place with the rear window being glass is in good shape. The trunk floor is rotted so you can see the gas tank and the ground. all the body panels have rust and rot but definitely repairable. The frame and the floor of the car must have rot even though I haven't inspected that area. This car was in a miner accident on the right front that damaged the fender (which I don't have) headlamp panel (which I have) an upper control arm (which I have) and some work to the heater box section of the firewall (Easy fix). The damage was never claimed by the ins co so the title is a clean Mass title. Sorry no pictures of under the hood but I can't get it open at the time of the pictures.
