Offered is a 2002 VW BEETLE GLS TDI (Turbo-Diesel-Injection), loaded with AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, ELECTRIC MOONROOF, HEATED LEATHER SEATS, KENWOOD CD PLAYER, VW SUNFLOWER ALLOY WHEELS (rare option), A/C. With only 104,756 actual miles! This Beetle with the sturdy 1.9 liter diesel engine is EPA-rated at 44 mpg (highway), but many owners have reported getting 49 mpg !!!! The color combo is Sunburst Yellow with Black leather interior..... This Beetle is a 2-owner accident-free vehicle, always a Florida car, Autocheck approved (score:80), Carfax certified. Clear title with no issues. Comes with 2 remotes + extra key, and a complete owners manual in VW binder. Condition Report follows: Exterior: Paint is very nice. Body is excellent. All glass and lenses are nice with no cracks or blems. Note: :a) there is a small 1 and a half inch tear in the rear bumper.; b) there was a clamp-on rear spoiler which was removed, but it left 2 areas on the rear hatch corners where you can see that something was there, (not visible in the pictures, not really a big deal.) Interior: The interior overall is very nice, includes leather, dash, carpet. Note: a) there is some wear on the driver's seat bolster (consistent with age and mileage), mostly on the side of the seat where the leatherette is (the seating surfaces are leather, but the sides are leatherette); b) the headliner is a light color and has some light dirt marks on it which probably could be cleaned. Mechanical: The overall mechanical condition is excellent. You can drive this diesel Beetle anywhere with confidence. Recent set of H-rated high speed tires installed, brakes are good, suspension is fine, engine and transmission are really nice and smooth, no issues at all ! Fresh oil change and filter, and brand new set of Beru (German OE) glow plugs and glow plug harness. Note: Sometimes the gas flap release doesn't open the flap, so you need to do it manually in that case..; b) the a/c blows warm, but the compressor goes on ; c) the blower switch works on high speed only, I think it just needs a resistor pack This is a special Beetle which you might be looking for, there aren't many others like it !! So don't miss the opportunity... Auction Rules: 1. There is a PayPal deposit of $500 due at the end of the auction (within 2 hours). If you will will be paying for the car in full within the next 24 hours, you need not make the deposit. Balance is due within 5 days by bank check, wire, or cash (in-person). You can ship it, but be prepared to leave feedback by the time the car is picked up and leaves my care and control. For in-person pickups, feedback is exchanged at time of finalization/pickup, when you are satisfied with the car. 3. Inspections may be done by the winning bidder at any time prior to finalization. You may inspect it yourself, or have someone else or a service inspect on your behlf. If you will not be present, they would need a notarized authorization letter from you indicating that you are paying them any fees which they may charge you for the inspection. Inspection is normally done where the car is located. If you wish to have it brought to a licensed facility, you would have to flat-bed it there and back (since car has no collision or comp insurance on it) and pay the facility prior to the inspection. 4. Taxes/Fees: You pay your own sales tax in your state. There is a $149 service/doc fee which covers such things as custom doc preparation, in-transit plate for out of state buyer, airport pickup, Fedex of docs, and other fees and expenses expended in connection with this ebay listing and sale.
