OK folks - time to suck it up and find her a new home. I'm officially overstocked with projects and recently acquired another solid axle Triumph TR4A that I am going to focus on instead. This car is a project. Here is an accurate and honest list of what she needs to be a very-very nice car (you could selectively do some of these if you want a driver); Her current condition Front sill repair on both sides where the scuttle drains Front kick-board patching on the driver side A new inner fender on the passenger side (which I have and could be included) Fenders patched on lower bottoms She needs an engine rebuild but comes with a good core/complete engine Transmission installed, comes with a good but leaky 65k mile TR6 transmission that does not pop out of gear and has a nice shift action Complete Interior retrim is required She was hit / or hit something on the passenger side front and while she drove fine and alignment wasn't an issue, the frame is buckled right behind the lower fulcrum bracket. Not a safety issue, and again she drove fine, but it's there You'll need to source a hood or I can supply one with non-terminal surface rust on it (it's pretty good actually) On the positive side; She has a clean CA title and is on non-OP status so no fees due Her rear axle is quite and is a solid axle car Rear sills are fine and straight Rest of the floors are solid Trunk is solid Rear fenders are solid Boot lid is solid Engine core is included Doors are solid (but need to be reinstalled) And hey, I'm not asking much for her..... :-) She is listed for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel the auction if someone who will treat her right comes along. Please note the mileage is estimated. Pictures of her assembled is how she looked when I bought her. Her panels have now been removed and stripped to assess her condition under the exterior panels, and I've included several pictures of her inner structure so you have an idea of the type of project she'll be. if you have restored one of these before you'll understand the nature of the work needed.
