Hello everyone, you are looking at pictures of a 1987 GMC Jimmy K5 4x4. This is the GMC version of the Chevrolet K5 Blazer. This is a 99% RUST FREE TRUCK. This truck was ordered with Sierra Classic options, such as tilt wheel, A/C, and power rear tailgate window. This Jimmy has a rebuilt 5.7 liter motor in it, the motor was rebuilt by ATK motors in February of 07 when the odometer read 53,895 the odometer now shows 72,860 on it, so there is roughly 20K on the motor. The motor runs strong and has lots of power. The transmission is the original 700R-4 4 speed automatic, it also looks to have been rebuilt at some point, it shifts through all the gears great including reverse. The original NP 208 part time transfer case shifts easily in and out of 4 wheel drive. Both front and rear axles consist of the original GM corp. 10 bolts, both are in good shape, i would suggest for the front ball joints to be replaced in the near future. As you can see from the pictures, this Jimmy has a very nice stance to it, this rugged look comes from a 4 inch Rancho suspension lift complete with dual shocks up front, the lift kit is matched up to a set of 35 inch Mickey Thompson Baja Claws mounted on 15x10 American Racing aluminum rims. The combo looks great and the truck gets lots of compliments. The exterior of the truck is in fair shape, there are nicks, scratches, dings, dents, and flaws throughout, as you can see its overall pretty straight, but i don't want anyone having any misconceptions. The rear corners of the fenders have had a little damage from the larger tires, and the rear portion of the front fenders have been trimmed a little to clear the 35's with the 4 inch lift, this is not visible from the outside. Right in the center of the hood there is a crack. The windshield also has a crack in it. The interior of the truck is in fair shape also, the headliner is new, the front section of the carpet has been replaced and it does not match, the two front seats are are in ok shape, and the rear seat is in good condition. The interior rear side panels are rough, and the rest of the interior is just ok. I think the pictures should speak for themselves, if you notice something which i have left out please don't hesitate to call or write at any time. This truck should be considered a solid driveable and currently registered project for someone who knows how to do a little work, please do NOT expect to purchase this and not spend any time or money on it, you WILL be doing both. I don't know of any other way to be clearer with my descriptions. The truck has factory air, but it is not currently working, we have not looked into the cause.
