Vehicle Detail
1974-75 model year K5 Blazer, the last of the fully removable hard tops. The truck has been stored and been worked on over the last nine years. I personally have owned the truck since 2005 and since then have done quite a bit of work on it. Such as having it professionally painted (2008), removing and replacing areas affected by rust, new wheels and tires (2008). The Blazer was also extensively worked on prior to my purchasing of it. It has a Built 383ci stroker and the Muncie M22 rockcrusher H gate 4 speed with the granny low 1st gear. Joined with the NP205 gear driven transfer case, with (4hi, 4lo, Neutral, 2 hi). The drive lines are over sized 1-ton. Front drive assembly is Dana 44 up front with 1 ton axles with locking hubs (8 lug pattern), rear axle is also 1 ton taken off a donor Chevy. Both front and rear axles are Full Posi running 4:11 gears. The truck sits on R17-12.5-37in HANKOOK DynaPro tires (with discount tire warranty) and 8 lug 17 inch aluminum wheels (brand new, only have 200 miles). The 383 stroker is running Hooker headers through straight Supertrapper exhaust. Front ball joints and tie rod ends have all been replaced and new sway bar within the last 2 years. The engine runs really strong with a 4-Barrel carburetor, new alternator and battery (last year) never had any issues with the drive train, starts right up and drives great for a 1 ton blazer. The interior was removed completely and trashed; bucket seats and bedliner were added. Never had the time to finish the interior. I had the wire harness replaced with one from Hot ROD wires and installed and worked great, but since the truck has been sitting something has come loose and the turn signals don’t work (the only major issue, which could be sorted out if given a couple hours). The removable top is in good shape (all glass is intact), it is the same color as the body, though not painted at the same time. It shows a little wear from sitting in storage. The truck also comes with a BEST TOP black vinyl top, brush guard (not installed), Blaupunk 4 speaker CD player. roll bar, spare 35in bfgoodwrench tire and steel rim, 4:11 axle 6 lug, rear bench seat and some misc parts. The truck is seriously fun, loud and looks great. Shipping/ Pickup will be at buyers expense. Additional photos click the link: http://s775.photobucket.com/home/james32222/recentuploads?view=slideshow
