2005 Yukon XL “Executive Custom Coach" SUV with Passenger Compartment Limo Conversion A Mobile Luxury Office with Approximately $95,000 InvestedVIN 1GKEC16Z45J110628 This is a 2005 Yukon XL SUV with an “Executive Conversion” by LA Custom Coach; upgraded wheels, brakes and exterior trim by Dean’s Sportrucks; and a driver and passenger multimedia audio-video system by Sounds Good Stereo. Look them all up and you’ll find that each is a leader in their field, known for their quality, fit and finish. This is a vehicle that I designed for my own personal executive transport. It was designed with both luxury and technology in mind in order to bring efficiency to my long commute. It has been garaged since new. While it has a little over 128,000 miles on the odometer, a dedicated private driver has meticulously cared for this vehicle from the onset. The vast majority of its mileage has been easy highway miles along the 210 freeway against traffic; not stop and start treks on city streets or congested highways. The truck has had consistent preventative maintenance throughout its life. The vehicle has just had its suggested maintenance service, fluid change and a complete inspection by a GMC dealer. She is fully detailed and ready for a new home in your garage. Nearly $100,000 was invested to create this truly unique personal transport. It is at home commuting executives during the week as it is being the perfect limo for safe, entertaining weekend nights out. The LA Custom Coach "Executive Conversion" creates a totally separate luxury passenger compartment, similar to a limousine. The key features of this conversion include: Dual captains chairs in main position with grey leather seating surfaces and suede inserts, adjustable headrests, power recline, power massage and seat warmers and center armrestPower partition between driver and passenger compartment15” LCD Video/computer monitor in partition7” LCD monitors in each pillar for jump seatsDual BatteriesHeavy duty generatorDual A/C systemsGrey ultra suede interior upgrades; full headliner, door panels, center divider and pillarsRear passenger and front overhead controls; windows and a/c all controllable from right rear passenger seatHalogen gooseneck reading lightsDriver/passenger communication telephoneCustom bar console with fiber optics in top and bottomStorage Drawer under each jump seatFiber optic lighting, mirrored bar back with champagne glass holderInsulated self draining soft drink bin in spare tire well as well as alongside passenger seats2-110 volt power outlets2-12 volt power outletsMood lighting interior – adjustable white lighting, blue bar lightingPassenger area sound dampening insulation and plush carpeting20% tint, driver's windowsLimo tint, rear windows A state of the art A/V system was installed that includes:AM/FM/SAT/mp3/DVD player with pop out 7” screenDVD based navigation system, controllable by either driver or passengerRear view camera controls for both driver and passengeriPod integration for iPod control using head unit touchscreenPC VGA connector to connect laptop to video screens Exterior upgrades include:Badge removal and exterior blackout22” Zinik chrome wheels with low profile tiresBillet GrillChromed dual exhaust tipsSlotted drilled rotors and upgraded calipersVortec Cold Air Induction SystemElectronic “hideaway” safety step up foot boards The following excerpt is from a Mobile Electronics Magazine feature article about this vehicle titled "The Stealth Limo" If you spotted this SUV on the street, you might take notice of the sleek exterior. Maybe even take note of the billet accents and chrome wheels. But it would be a glance, not a gawk. It is unassuming enough to pass as a rig for a soccer mom as she takes her kids from one activity to another. In reality, it is super limo providing unprecedented entertainment and luxury to its executive owner. The goal was to create a vehicle that was not your customary CEO stretched limousine that would boast “over the top” as it rolled up. Rather, understated elegance with a fully functional business and entertainment suite was what this owner was after. From the outside this vehicle looks like a well-appointed SUV and no one is the wiser that it is actually a full-featured limousine that transports its executive occupants in style and supreme comfort. After the Yukon XL was purchased, it went directly from the new car dealership to LA Custom Coach in Fontana, California for a plush interior makeover. Everything from the driver’s seat back was completely re-fabricated to create a transport vehicle that’s part limousine, part mobile office and part rolling home theater. It was even destined to a mobile conference room with the ability to plug in a laptop and show presentations on up to four video screens. This does not mean that the exterior was ignored. After the fact, Sportrucks by Dean upgraded the braking system with oversized slotted and drilled rotors, as well as adding special side rail step ups that, when not in use, tuck away neatly beneath the vehicle. When a door is opened, the electronically controlled side steps glide firmly into place and lighting comes on to illuminate a passenger’s path when entering or exiting. The finishing touches included 22-inch Zinik wheels, a billet grill and custom chrome exhaust. Dark limo window tint was added and all the exterior badging was removed to create a sleek blacked-out look. The interior of the cabin is wrapped in suede —even the headliner— and custom made electronically reclining captain’s chairs were placed in the rear, facing forward. The seats are equipped with remote controls, allowing occupants to turn on and off heaters imbedded within the seats as well as to control vibrating massage units. Buttons located next to the seats allow users to set the proper position of the headrests and recline the seats. Adjustable reading lights are within easy reach of each passenger. The front of the vehicle where the driver sits was left relatively stock, with the exception of an Alpine Navigation system that is accessible by either driver or passenger. A divider can be opened or closed to either allow conversation with the driver or to go for privacy for the rear occupants. A hidden bar appears below the divider. When the partition is closed, special fiber optic lighting and a 15-inch LCD monitor is revealed. All the wiring for the vehicle terminates on the wall of the partition behind the front passenger seat. While the interior was being re-constructed, Isaac Goren, owner of Sounds Good Stereo in Woodland Hills, California was brought into the project to supply the components that would provide the entertainment. He was present for much of the interior work that was done by the team at LA Custom. Goren mapped out a wiring diagram to suit the ultimate need of the vehicle’s multimedia system, which was to include navigation, Satellite Radio, an iPod interface, a Dolby Digital 5.1 theater system, digital amplification, subwoofer, rearview camera and more. Once LA Custom Coach completed the interior renovation, the GMC was passed on to the installation team at Sounds Good Stereo. Isaac installed the Alpine CVA-D310 command center as the hub of the system, a multimedia head unit that plays CD’s, CD-R’s, CD-RW’s, MP3’s, DVD’s and features both i-Pod and Satellite radio integration. A special cable was run from an input plug to the Alpine head unit so that an iPod could be plugged into the system. A VGA cable was run from an input jack near the captain’s chairs to the command center, permitting the use of a laptop computer. A back up camera was mounted next to the license plate to supply a view behind the Yukon, viewable by driver and passengers alike. Similarly, either the driver or the occupants in the rear cabin can control the navigation features, making changes to planned routes a seamless venture that doesn’t even require a conversation with the driver. The Alpine command center has a built in retractable touch screen that allows a user to control literally every aspect of the audio-video system. Passengers can watch a DVD on the main screen and access the DVD touch screen controls on the Alpine’s 7-inch monitor. Even the iPod control menu can be shifted to the main monitor. In a surreal moment of gaming like virtual reality, we took a demo ride a trip in which we watched our navigated route on the main screen while the rear camera view appeared on the small screen below; all while listening to our favorite iTunes. Quite the ride! Two more seats face the rear of the vehicle. Two 7-inch LCD monitors were flush mounted into the sidewalls in an optimum location to allow for great viewing by the occupants of these seats. A top priority for the installation crew at Sounds Good Stereo once they got the Yukon was to be certain not to take up any available space. This influenced the placement of the subwoofer. Goren did not want a customary subwoofer enclosure to be constructed and placed in the rear of the vehicle behind the captain’s chairs because these seats recline. Instead, the crew found a quarter panel area that included a small storage nook on the driver’s side of the vehicle and converted it into a sealed custom fabricated fiberglass enclosure for a 10-inch JL Audio subwoofer. Two Image Dynamics 6-1/2-inch coaxial speakers mounted on the extreme left and right of the top of the partition wall that separates the driver from the passengers as well as two more 4-1/2-inch Image Dynamics speakers mounted in the center portion of the wall create the front sound field for the passenger compartment. The center speakers serve as a center channel for surround-sound. Two Image Dynamics 6-1/2-inch coaxial speakers are mounted in the rear of the compartment to provide rear fill. An Alpine MRA-D550 five-channel digital amplifier powers the Image Dynamics speakers. This amplifier includes DTS and Dolby Surround Sound processors built in. It is controlled directly by the Alpine CVA-D310 command center. A JL Audio 250-1 mono amplifier powers the subwoofer. An Alpine XM Satellite radio receiver was added and plugs into the Alpine CVA-D310. The amplifiers, navigation system, and XM Satellite radio receiver are mounted to the wall behind the front passenger seat or under the front passenger seat. So, there you are. Total entertainment fully controlled from one unit. A DVD movie playing on the Alpine CVA-D310 unit appears on the large 15-inch LCD screen as well as the 7-inch screen of the D310; available for viewing by passengers in the captain’s chairs while the independent 7-inch monitors mounted to the sidewalls provide video for the occupants of the seats facing the rear. The route being driven, which has been plotted and graphically created by the navigation system, can appear on any of the screens. And the view captured by the back up camera can be exhibited on the driver’s monitor, which is part of the navigation system — or on any of the screens in the rear of the vehicle. When a laptop computer is plugged into the system, the 15-inch screen on the partition between the front and rear compartments serves as the computer monitor. With your cell card equipped laptop, surf the Internet on the cabin’s main screen. Or, use the vehicle as a mobile boardroom and present your PowerPoint deck on the move. If pleasure is the goal, play a DVD for all to experience the movie in full 5.1 digital glory. Or play CD’s in true Dolby Digital or THX surround sound. If you have have an Apple i-Pod filled with personal favorite songs, the device can be simply plugged into a cradle within easy reach. Songs are displayed and played through the audio system and the iPod is controlled via the main system touch screen. Everything is easy to use and easy to control. The set up is intuitive so anyone can quickly learn how to work the system on his or her own. With libations available from the bar and LED’s splashing color on to the festivities what else would you need? Maybe just a few more excuses to travel in a Stealth Limo.On Oct-17-10 at 20:20:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Please Note: An eBay system issue has caused the pictures to appear small, so if you would like these pics emailed to you, just let me know.
