Vehicle Detail
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Exceptional 1982 Honda Silverwing GL500I, 24,578 miles Vehicle Description You are looking at a unique GL500I. It is a true Interstate model with 24,578 miles. It is a complete bike down to the owner’s manual, complete tool kit, and air gauge. You will not find another GL500 like this anywhere due to the modification. If you are looking for a unique Silverwing this is the bike you have been looking for. I have made a number of modifications improve the performance of the bike while retaining a factory look. Here is a list of the modifications: GL650I front fork (polished) and fork brace GL1000 front and rear ComStar wheels with new tires balanced with dynabeads GL1100 25mm dual pot caliper + 30mm dual pot caliper (both calipers polished), CB900 caliper brackets (polished), CB 900 280mm twin discs (drilled) GL1100 rear disc caliper and bracket (both polished), GL1000 disc (drilled), and SS brake line Aftermarket radio/speaker Front and rear crash bars, highway pegs (front crash bar bought new from Germany) GL1100 Handle bar with throttle lock and foam grips Oil Temp gauge in place of the oil diK&N air filter Electric fan swap (for the mechanical fan) Other items: GL1100 front and rear wheels with new tires also balanced with dyna beads. They can be swapped out to go with reverse comstar look if that is your preference Larger rear factory trunk, keyed to work with same key Rear seat Other 30mm dual pot caliper (polished) GL500 handle bar Oil dip stick Spare rear tail lights and front turn signals Vehicle Condition The bike is in very good condition; no holes or tears in seats and paint in good condition. Everything works. Engine is tight; does not burn or use oil. The bike has been down once but does not affect ride ability (rear crash bar scratched). I have clear title. TERMS OF SALE 1.
