1967 Chevrolet C-10 Short Wheel Base Project TruckLots of new parts. Up for auction is a 1967 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup Truck. It is a short wheel base fleet side truck with the small back window. Please look at the pictures and ask all questions prior to bidding. I will describe to the best of my ability. I started the rebuild/restoration 5 years ago. I have just ran out of time. New baby, and a new job. It seems the more I do the more backwards I go. So my loss is your gain. I was going for the rat rod/old stripped hot rod look. Body is decently straight, corner lights have been filled prior to me owning. Doors are solid, one has a speaker hole cut in the lower part. No door locks. New window rubber on the sides, and back and new felt on the sides. NO windshield, but new rubber for it. Dash has been filled and a piece of metal cut and filled over the old a/c/heat control area. NO heat or A/C in the truck. The drip rail has been stripped, filled, and smoothed. Decent job, a little rough in some areas. Minor rust in the front quarters, and the front/rear wheel wells. Cab corners have been replaced. (Not professional but pretty smooth). New headlights, and headlight hardware. Front signals are from a Harley Motorcycle. Brand new 12 circuit wiring harness. Had all of them ran except the rear lights and everything worked good. Little history on the truck. I had the truck running ready to tag and drive about 12 months ago. Then observed a leak from the rear of the engine so I pulled the engine with hopes of rebuilding. Now 12 months later, the engine has only been rebuilt to the crank. I have the complete rebuild kit with all new gaskets, pistons, bearings, cam, oil pump, etc... The only parts used from the kit is the crank bearings. I have a 4 speed transmission that shifted good prior to pulling engine last time. Engine is a 350 crate engine. It is apart now. Does have a new (purchased 16 months ago and installed) Edlebrock intake, and new (16 months and installed) Holley 4 barrel carb. Power steering components. Standard exhaust manifolds but 2 sets of mufflers and new exhaust tubes. Also has bucket seats out of a Dodge minivan. Interior of the truck has been painted anodized bronze with cheap carpet. Gas tank installed. New clutch purchased 24 months ago. Also new front disc brakes both rotors, and calipers purchased 24 months ago. American Racing wheels (older but in good shape). Bed liner has been painted in. tailgate operates properly for a 1967 model. Front bumper, and grill is in good shape. New shocks all around apx. 36 months ago. Front springs were cut apx. 2". Rear springs were cut apx. 5" (But it does have an extra set of standard rear springs that are included.) Please look at all pictures. Many extra parts. 2 sets of headers, both need some work. Truck is not in driving condition needs to be towed away on purchase. Extra steering wheel, and power steering parts. Also new center bearing for driveshaft was put in 12 months ago. Chrome set for engine, distributor. As stated before please ask all questions prior to bidding. Truck is located in Coeburn, VA and is for sale locally.
