You are bidding on a very unique 1966 Ford C750. It belonged to the local Fire Department until I aquired it 3 years ago. The one of a kind bed was custom built by one of the department members and is made of 3/16" thick steel . This truck was originally used to pull the trailer that transported the department's 1938 Fire Engine to parades and other functions. The department retired it about 8 years ago, the Firefighter's Association then began to restore it, installed a rebuilt 460ci engine and automatic transmission in it along with servicing the entire drive train. The interior of the cab was restored. The members of the department lost interest in it just short of installing a shifter handle and cables and repainting the exterior. I am told this truck is a strong workhorse that can pull anything. The vehicle has been in storage for a few years and would need to be towed to its new home.
