This auction is for a very nice, very cute 1962 Morris Mini Traveller Woody Wagon! This car had a nice thorough cosmetic restoration about 9 years ago, it had been parked the last few years and the paint picked up a couple marks while in storage. that said it is a VERY nice car, very clean and runs and drives well! the interior is exceptional and the body and wood work are very nice as well! These are getting very tough to find, and this one is a dandy! the interior had been completely stripped, repainted in body color, then a new interior installed from top to bottom. colors are classic mini and the interior is well done with all new upholstery including headliner, door panels, seats and carpeting. the speedometer was taken and and rebuilt, also have installed a new wiper motor. The chrome is all very nice, glass is good. Really a VERY nice little car. this feels like a new car, and drives very nicely. I do have the original steel wheels with hub caps and trim rings, but quite enjoy the rims that are on it with decent Kumho tires. brakes, signals etc all work well. I also have a few spares that go along with the car. The engine I believe is original to the vehicle with an upgraded transmission with better synchro, make it way more driveable then the old magic wand style tranny. In all, a very clean car that had been a regular at the show circuit locally within the past 3-5 years. This car was last registered in 2008, and was driven daily in summer at that time. I have not re-registered the car since it came out of storage, but do have the old registration, Car is sold with a Bill of Sale. The heater needs a new switch installed, but has not been an issue since it is a summer car. also the calipers are seaping a bit from sitting, the car is still very driveable as it is, had it out on the freeway today.On Oct-12-10 at 20:12:45 PDT, seller added the following information: there have been quite a few technical questions, the previous owners had the car registered and insured locally, it had been appraised at $16500 at that time. it was stored for 3 years, when I purchased it. it starts up, runs well and I have driven it up and down the freeway and highway. the brakes were puling a little, the cylinders are seaping (from storage) other then what I have listed in the add, I'm not sure what (or if) it needs anything else, it's a pretty nice little car. I would recomend coming and having a look at it. I want the new owner to be happy, and have absolutley no problem showing the car prior to purchase.
